Goodbye 2016

Hey guys,
We're almost 3 hours away from 2017. It's crazy to think that the year is almost over. So many great things have happened. But before I get to that, can we just take a minute to pay tribute to those that we have lost this year. Whether it be someone that you're close to or someone famous, we've lost people this year and they'll be greatly missed. One and all.

So, let's think about the good things from this year.
Well for me, lots. I started a band called Roadkill Roger. I raised £103.70 in a sponsored silence. I became one of the house captains of my school. Loads of things have happened to me this year. Now I don't want to be a bragger so I'm not going to continue.

Now, even though this has been brief. I want you guys to know that I am so grateful that you guys welcomed me back to blogging. I don't think I would have continued after that post a few days ago if it didn't receive 10 views in the minute that I had posted it. Because I'm glad someone is reading my ramblings. It makes me feel good inside.

Been watching Mr.Potter and friends (+ my book and My Focus Jam )

Hey guys,

Now even though the title could suggest that I have been watching some new kids show. I'm actually talking about Harry Potter. Lately, ITV has been showing the entire series. My sister has gone and recorded them and is watching them. I'm in the lounge when she is watching, so that means I watch them as well. Now one thing I can say (even though I've watched all of them it loads before) I noticed new stuff and I realised the quality of storytelling that the films (and I'm gonna assume the books as well) possess. It's utterly brilliant in the films because you can see certain plotlines develop through visual cues.

Anyway, enough about Harry Potter. I am going to talk about a book that I'm writing, Beautifully Ignorant. 
Basically, It's a romance between this kind of loner called Daniel (no connection) and a girl that he meets called Abi, however, there are things that get in the way including Daniel's past/problems and Abi's problems. I'm writing it on Figment.com, the first two chapters are up and I'm almost finished with the 3rd. Anyway, I've put the cover I made for it.

Hey... It's been a while.

Hey guys,
Daniel Mawardi here. It's been a long time, I know. It's been about 5 months since my last proper post, and I'm sorry for that. I didn't want to stop doing the blog but, as I started my final year at secondary school, I just fell out of practice and routine, so when I went to write the next post, I just didn't feel the motivation. 

However, that's changed now. On the days leading up to the 18th Dec, I felt a bit disappointed. This is because the blog would be 1-year-old on the 18th. So I decided to try and get back into it. But once again when I sat down on the 18th, I just couldn't write about anything. But over Christmas, I felt like I had you guys down, massively. Because for a solid 9 months, you guys had kept on reading. I am sorry that I just disappeared. 

Alas, I am going to start blogging again, I hope you guys can forgive me for just vanishing.

A busy time.

Super Busy

Now I am really sorry about not posting. For Wednesday and Thursday, the school computers weren't working, so I couldn't get onto Blogger. For Friday to Sunday. I was super busy, so I had no time to post, my bad, sorry.

I've sprained my wrist, the best ending ever! Among other things

Hey guys,
First off, I am so sorry about not posting yesterday, you see, I thought that I had already posted but I hadn't, so my bad.

Anyway, yesterday was pretty boring, except, I may have sprained my wrist. Now you see what happen is that me and my 3 siblings went for a walk. Now near the end of the walk, we were talking about strength  and I demonstrated it by punching my brother on the shoulder. However, when I did it, Surprise! He has really hard shoulders! So I was in pain, so much pain. Now, me being dramatic, I thought I had broken my wrist, then I went onto fractured, but now I've settled on sprained.
So in short, I punched my brother and got a sprained wrist, but if anyone asks, I did it while boxing.

The other thing I wanted to talk about was that I watch the final episode of The Musketeers. Now this is the finale of Season 3 but as well, it is the final ever episode as this was the last season. Now if you have never seen The Musketeers, and you're into dramas, then I would recommend it immediately. It is absolutely AMAZING. The show on a whole has great acting, brilliant action and set pieces, as well as an amazing plot. Now the ending to the show is the best possible way it could have ended. It shows what the characters will become and it describes the future they'll have. As well, over the final shots, Athos narrates a final speech that describes what the show is and has been about; as well, the speech truly describes what it means to be and what it takes to be a Musketeer.

How I got over jet lag (or is that Jet-Lag?)

Sorry about posting late in the day, I spent most of it getting over my jetlag (or is that Jet Lag?).
 Anyway, I accomplished that by waking up, taking a shower. Then talk to a mate for an hour, as well as showing him my souvenirs (A post on that tomorrow) and then I talked to another friend for 7 hours while watching Young Justice (Which is a brilliant Animated show about teenaged DC heroes, if you like DC, you should totally check it out. Some Highlights

Hey guys,
Sorry about not posting yesterday, I had some massive jet lag and I felt like shit. I still feel like shit today but I've gotten over my jet lag, so that's good.

Anyway, I'll give you some of the highlights of my holiday. I went to my uncle's wedding, it was a big thing as he is the last of my uncles to get married. So in all it was nice. The reception was really nice, there was food, ice cream and a big bowl of mentos.
Another highlight was the ice skating. I went ice skating twice at Ice Scape, this indoor ice rink. here is a photo:

Over the course of the two times I went, I can kinda ice skate now, It really takes a lot of looking at other people and time.

I am going to get something to eat now

On Holiday - The Plane

This post was meant to be posted yesterday, but I was delayed.

Hey guys,
On Sunday I went on a plane to Malaysia. It was an average flight, nothing bad happened.

Ok, so we left home at 3:30PM and drove to Heathrow Airport.  I would tell you about what happened in the journey, but, I fell asleep. There was one thing that I remembered, We saw loads of US Army trucks. I don't know if they were going to some sorta car show, I don't know.

So we got to the airport, parked, unloaded the bags and went inside. We went through Security and bag check in. So eventually we got onto the plane, and this was the first time, in the five years that I've been to Malaysia, that I've sat on my own. Before I've sat with one of my siblings.
I sat next to this nice woman who had been studying in America and was going home. I chatted with her throughout the flight.
We took off and started going on our journey.
Now I had two meals on the plane: a breakfast and a dinner. For the dinner, I had two options: Chicken or Mushroom risotto. I chose the Chicken. I don't have a photo of the dinner but I have one of the breakfast:

I chose the chicken fried noodles instead of the cooked breakfast because I know how bad they are (in my opinion).

On the flight, I watched two films: Kung Fu Panda 3 and Deadpool.

I didn't do much else, except from, playing video games and the purple sunrise incident.

Go Ape!+ Play Exo Margate and tomorrow

Hey guys,
I have just under 25 minutes to tell you about Go Ape! Today and Tomorrow. Let's do this!

Go Ape!
Ok, so Go Ape! is like a climbing frame, spread around a forest. There are 5 sections to traverse through, all the time changing your clips, clipping caribina's on and off to the red lines, attaching the green caribina to the central control point and attaching your pully the zip lines. Oh boy, the zip lines are the BEST part. Zip lines make you feel like a child again, but when you get on Go Ape!'s zip lines, it's like Christmas and birthdays all in one. you see each section starts with a ladder that ascends into the treetops and they end with a zip line. The third section's zip line is easily the best one. You can see that it go on for a long time just by looking at it, as well, you can see how high you are already just by looking down. So I clip on and I count from three and step off the platform.

OH MY GOD!

It is AMAZING. You start getting faster, then I emerge from the forest over a valley! which means you are going so high and so fast! It is absolutely a one of a kind experience.

The Play Exo Margate
Ok, today I went with a few friends to this gaming convention, Play Exo Margate. So it was AMAZING!!!! Now even before it started we had this amazing conversation with this guy who had this BRILLIANT Link costume. FANTASTIC. Then the Exo opened, and we went inside. It was amazing, there was too much to type about, but I can give you an idea. There was a long table full of games to every single console you could think of: N.E.S, SNES, N64, Megadrive, Dreamcast, Saturn, Playstation 1,2,3,4,  DS, 3DS, 2DS, Gameboy (All versions), Gamecube, And More! There were tables full of Geek and Nerd stuff! As well as all this, downstairs there was this massive (and when I say massive I mean MASSIVE) room full of every type of  console you could think of: NES, SNES, MEGADRIVE, ZX SPECTRUM, N64, DREAMCAST, SATURN, GAMECUBE, PLAYSTATION 1, PLAYSTATION 2, PS3, PS4, XBOX, XBOX 360, XBOX 1. As well, as all this, there was a bit of the room full of authentic ARCADE CABINETS! Super Mario Bros, Daytona USA and more. Also, there were some Pinball machines. Both things (arcade cabinets and pinball machines) were completely free to play. As well, there was a square of desktops PCs and a line of desktop PC's. The square of PC's had Minecraft on them and the line had the first Counter Strike on it. I had a go at most of the games there. I bought a few items that I will show later. I videoed it all, so I will tell you about the video when I release it.

Tomorrow
So the final item. tomorrow I am going away to my dad's for a five-week holiday, I won;t be back until September. I will try my hardest to post, but posts will be infrequent and possible very short.

GO APE! (Preview)

Hey guys,
I'm sorry about not posting yesterday, but when I explain, you'll understand.

So yesterday, we had our end of term treat. In the past
we gone to lazar, go karting and others
but for this one, we went to Go Ape! Now I could go on
for hours about Go Ape! But I've got to get an early night.
So I'll tell you about the best bit now and tell you guys the whole of it
tomorrow.

Ok, so my top best bit was the third out the five zip lines. It was absolutely
AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I clip onto it
(when I was standing on the platform, the landing site look really far away) 
and then I count to 3 and I step off the platform. AND OH MY BLOODY GOD!
It was absolutely AMAZING, I was going so fast as I emerged from this forest and into/
over the valley! I looked down I as SO high up! I found out later that it was
13 metres/ 43 foot in the air!

Waterstones trip

Hey guys,
I thought that today was going to be pretty average and that I wasn't going to have anything to talk about, but, I was wrong.

Ok, so a few posts back I talked about the school fair that we had, well, I'm not sure whether or not I mentioned the fact that I won an award for reading the most words in the entire school. (they use a book tracker to track the words.) So because I won that award, I got to go on a trip to Waterstones, along with the winners of the writing competition. So we went there and I looked around, now, I knew what I wanted to buy. You see, I wasn't going to buy a book because I had the unabridged version of The Musketeers to read over the summer. However, I'm going to Malaysia for the summer and I thought that it would be really good to have a travel guide. I managed to find a really good one.

Sunday's Bonfire and the new Ghostbusters

Hey guys,
Ok, I'm gonna start with what happened yesterday after I posted and then I'm going to go on to what happened today.

So, yesterday after I posted, I went to a bonfire on the beach. It was organised by my youth group and it was really something. So what happened is that we had this bonfire made of wood on the beach but before we lit it, we had a BBQ, which was nice. There were burgers and hotdogs, as well as some salad. So we lit the bonfire and damn, it was really hot and the nice cone structure was gone in seconds. It was a least a metre high (the bonfire structure) but the actual fire was much larger. Apparently, according to Dan (the guys who made and lit the fire), the reason it took a flame so quickly and the reason that it was really hot was because he used to fire lighting gel.
As well as the big fire, about 2 metres away was a much smaller one that we used to roast marshmallows on. I had about 20 marshmallows.

So that is what happened yesterday, Today was pretty average except for the fact that I went to see the new Ghostbusters film. Now I thought that it wasn't that bad, in some places it dragged a bit, but the payoff that was the finale was great.

My Week

22:16-Friday 15th July 2016

Hey guys,
Now, I am going to take my time to explain why I haven't been posting, what has gone on during this week and what is coming up next week. Also, the next post will be about the blog art.

Ok, to start I will explain why I haven't been posting. Ok, so when I am at school, I post on the blog y using my school laptop, however, this week, my computer went missing. I had no idea where it was it was only until yesterday, that it reappeared and I got an answer for why it had disappeared. Basically, the schools IT support manager had taken my laptop to do maintenance on it. So that is why I haven't been posting.

So, onto the second category, what happened this week. Well, a better category name would be what happened today. So today, it was the first school fair I've had at my secondary school, It's a merge of our open days and our family fun days, it was brilliant, I don't know why they haven't done this before. There were games and some fun stalls, there was also stalls which were selling things, I was in charge of the bring and buy sale. There was loads of stuff, including Big automatic Nerf guns, Backpacks, DVD Boxsets, Etc. I think we made at least £40, but I'm not sure. As well as the stall I was running, there was another stall that was run by the English department. They were selling things that were based on inspiring quotes, including bookmarks and a quote boat, but the reason I mentioning it is because it was showcasing the Thought Cube, made by me!
Basically originally, what happened is that we had a lesson where we were meant to make a bookmark or  a gift for the stall, I made the cube, each side had an inspiring quote on  it. I will post a picture tomorrow. However, my English teacher liked them so much we made loads, I say we, I didn't trust anyone to fold them, They did the cutting.
It was really cool and I would go on about it bu tit is 21 mins past midnight, So I'll continue this tomorrow.

Maths and a "Rocket"

21:58- Monday 11th July 2016

Hey guys,

Ok, I am working on the 2500 views art, but in the meantime let me tell you about what I did today.

Ok, well, I did FOUR different maths' homework assignments. These have built up over the course of 4 weeks, but my maths teacher said that if I completed them, I would get 2 Commendations, which is good!

As well, today I did a gaming session with one of my mates, he's called Ollie, anyway, we were playing Scrap Mechanic . So we made this "rocket" (I say rocket it was a fridge with thrusters beneath).  So the first time we tried to fly it, I pressed the button but was thrown out before I could sit down!  Ollie was thrown about the map and crashed somewhere.  So the second time we tried to fly it, Ollie pressed th button and he was thrown out! The I crashed somewhere.

So the third time we tried to fly it, I put my chair closer to the Thrusters button, this time. So I pressed the button, got in my chair and damn. Me ad Ollie was thrown in  air in a crazy spin.

Sorry, And At home, again

First off, I wanted to say sorry for not posting for the last three days, It was because my internet was
not cooperating. But anyway, I better write something, so I'll write about why I am at home on a school day, again.
So today, the school is having a Staff Training Day, Which means I am at home, again. Last Tuesday, I was also at home because of an N.U.T Strike, Great. Because of this Training day, I am missing my IMPORTANT triple period of Food Tec! I need this lesson, But because I can't have it, I'm going to have to work double time after school! Great! (Sarcasm)

I should go to bed now, But I thought I should post to let you guys know the situation.

Something Exciting

Hey guys,
Today was meant to be average, however, instead of that we had a 'roadshow' that was in partnership with Kent Police come to the school.

It was all about one question 'Is it worth it?' and this could be applied to situations that are relevant to our age group: Do I post this on social media? or Do I meet this guy I only know from the internet? and so on.
There was a few prize challenges, not sure what the prizes were, but I didn't get the chance to win any of them. But something really cool happened, there was a live band there called Lions Estate, I think that their really awesome! I really liked their music, It reminded me of Blink 182.

Before I go, I have notice that we are approaching 2500 Views! I will get to work on the art for that seeing as this post will probably push it over.

Today I'm talking about Today! It's all I 've got :)

Hey guys,
Today, well has been pretty standard, except for a few points, which I will talk about now.

Point One- This mourning
Ok today was the first time in ages that I've had to get in the taxi, to go to school, On a Wednesday. You see, there was N.U.T Strike yesterday, so I had no school. So today I was going in from home. I didn't pack loads so the morning should have been relaxed. However, I wake up and it's 5 minutes TO 8AM, the taxi comes at 8:06 AM. So there I am jumping around hectically trying to get everything ready in time. Somehow, I managed to do it and I thought that was going to be the most crazy part of my day.

Point Two- The English Exam
Ok, so I walk into my English classroom expecting a normal lesson. But, SUPRISE, you have a practice GCSE exam to do, I wasn't angry or upset, I was surprised but then I thought that they probably didn't get a chance to tell us because of the strike, when our Double English is, and we don't have English on Monday's.

Point Three- The Careers Advisor
Ok, So I knew that I would be having a meeting today, It was about post 16, where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do. We talked about collages and back plans, and what I can do now to help with were I want to go. We also discussed about what the end game was, my answer was to be the head chef at my own restaurant.

That has been the highlights of my day.

What happened after Carroty Wood on the Sunday

19:31-Monday 4th July 2016

Hey guys,
Yesterday I said that something happened after Carroty Wood, however, I also said that it was a story for another day. Today is that day.

Ok, So I go inside after Jane dropped me home, the time was 5:00PM. I had to be at Y to do a talk at 6:15 PM. I was really tired, So I thought a 15-minute nap would be a good Idea.
It wasn't
I wake up and I see that it is 6:45 PM, i thought CRAP CRAO CRAP CRAP I'M GOING TO BE LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I put all the stuff I need into a bag, put my shoes on and Ran, I ran all the way from my house to Y, that's about TWO MILES, I ran Two MILES!! Well, I say run, it was more like: Run, Run, Run, Stop, Wheeze, Wheeze Run, Wheeze, Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze,  Run, Wheeze. You get the Idea. So I arrive at Y dripping with sweat and completely out of breath. 5 mins later and we start Y.
So that's the story, It's short, But it was exhausting

The Last Three Days: Surprises, Running, World Records, Talking, Carroty Wood and then some Part Three

Hey guys,
I'm against the clock, so let's do this!

Day Three- Sunday
Ok, so this is the last part in my three post series about last weekend. Last Sunday, I got up and did the pleasantries (Showering, Dressing and eating, Etc.) So it got the time to go the Low Ropes. It is a very muddy obstacle course in which you will get dirty, YOU WILL GET MUDDY. Unless you have mad skills. We did a timed run challenge between our teams, however, we had an extra objective as well as running the course in the quickest time. Each team member had an egg, if it gets broken, then you get a five-minute penalty. So the eggs were placed in a variety of places: pockets, socks, In the hard helmet. However, what I did was a bit more extreme. I wrapped my egg in my jacket and then put that into my underwear, NOW before you judge me, think about the strategy in this method. It is padded by the packet and won't more around due the elastic waist. It's not that weird, right?

...

Ok, moving on, So once we had all finished, Georgina (One of the adults) could do the obstacle course because of an injury, so she didn't get muddy, But that didn't stop Andy (another adult) He "escorted" her down the mud pool and gently led her into it. However, this only came up to her knees, so Andy laid her down and rolled her over! She got EVERY SINGLE piece of clothing muddy.

Once that was over, we walked back to the lodge, however, while we were walking I saw something amazing. I glance towards my left and stop dead. I turn around and see Adian. He sees me too, stopping dead in his tracks. We both stand there, astonished. Adian makes the first move.

He starts running away in a joking way shouting "I DON'T KNOW HIM!" I shot back "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!". Kind of creepy. He then comes back  and while he is walking back, I tell the people I am walking with that I know him from school. So he comes over and we have a chat and me explain why I was there and He tells me about what he has been doing. Remember the heavy rain I mentioned in the last part? Well, he was CAMPING in the that! As well, he got the new Carroty Wood jumper, I have the old version and I really like his one as well. I have a different design, where the pictures are on the back of the jumper. We chat about a few more things, I tell him that I'll see him tomorrow at school. The I run to catch up with the group.

Now when I get the lodge's outside area, I am blasted with a hose to get the mud off. It was very cold! After that, I got changed and packed my bags. After that, We had lunch and played football until Jane came back to take us home. We all fell asleep (Except Jane) in the drive home.

The Last Three Days: Surprises, Running, World Records, Talking, Carroty Wood and then some Part Two

Hey guys,
This is the second part of three about last weekend. Enjoy

Day Two-Saturday
Ok, So I wake up and it's 7:00 a full hour before breakfast, so I want and got a shower, got dressed, and just chatted to the roommates. So breakfast comes along, I have this mini box of frosties and so on, I'll just cut to the highlights. So we did the High Ropes, which is a massive climbing apparatus that you have to where a harness. I did the leap of faith, in which I jumped 4 and 1/2 feet from standing while 30 feet in the air, BRILLIANT! After that, I did the gladiator with someone else, it was basically a vertical obstacle course.
After the high ropes we did more world records, How fast can you eat a muffin with you hands tied behind you back was the main one we did. As well, in pairs, How quickly could you peal and eat an orange? I won both of those, with the help of Ollie for the orange.
After that, we went into the woods to do some Bushcraft, in which we made shelters and learned how to start a fire.
After that, it started to rain HEAVYILY FOR 2 HOURS!
When the rain finished we had a large bonfire, I can tell that roasted pineapple and marshmallows' ARE DELICIOUS, trust me.

Hey guys,
Tomorrow I will post about last Saturday, because I have English work that's due tomorrow and I got to get to work. So I'll tell you about today. Quickly.
Ok So I spent a good our painting large Pineapple sculptures, I paint them yellow and then leaving them to dry. After that, I use spray cans for the leaves and to add some orange to make them a bit more realistic.
Later I went to fencing, and I did my Grade 5 and passed! This means I am grade 5 in foil (type of sword). This is good.

The Last Three Days: Surprises, Running, World Records, Talking, Carroty Wood and then some Part One

19:43-Monday 27th June 2016

Hey guys,
Now, when I last posted I thought I would DEFINITELY by posting the next day. However, the plan changed when I got home on Friday...

Day One-Friday

So, I walk in the front door after school. I put down my bags and go upstairs to say hello to mum. But when I get upstairs before I say anything, she says to me 
"Daniel, there's a free spot to go to Carroty Wood with your church group, do you want to go?".
My first impression is COMPLETELY SHOCKED. I mean, I didn't even know my church group was going to Carroty Wood. My first response was to say
"I can't, I've got a lot of work to do".
I thought that was the end to it, but no it wasn't. Mum asked my two more times, both times was met with the same response from earlier. However, 5 mins later, I am watching The Musketeers when mum shouts down the stairs
"Ollie ********* is going. Jane said she would take you and she hasn't left yet. Are you SURE you don't want to go?".
"MUM!"
But then my mind started to get curious, so I go upstairs and ask mum
" When would I get back because I am doing a talk on Sunday at Y"
"You'll be back before then"
So I said I would go, and I got packing. I packed everything in a green camping bag and 30 minute later, Jane turns up, I put my bags in her car, say goodbye to mum, jump in the car and off we go.

So to get to Tonbridge (That is where Carroty Wood is) me and Ollie were human sat nav's since Jane's was broken. After about 45 mins we arrive at Carroty Wood, however, we don't know which lodge we are staying in. So me and Ollie get out to do some investigating after the first lodge we found wasn't the one we wanted, we started to walk back to the car. But as we got close Jane started to DRIVE AWAY, of course it was a joke, but me and Ollie stayed outside the car while we looked for the lodge.

So when we finally found it, we dropped off our bags and then we had a kick around with the other guys there. We had dinner and then we attempted at some world records: How many Smarties can you eat in 3 minutes WITH CHOPSTICKS and The biggest tower made from matchsticks in 2 minutes. After that It was bed.

Ok Tomorrow I will post about what happened on Saturday

1) The EU Referendum is today, today could go down in history. But like I said, I am really in a down mood, so I don't feel like I can talk about it.

2) I have decided to put ad revenue on the blog. I am doing this now, because as I get older, there are things I want and if I am getting money from something I enjoy doing then that's brilliant! You could see the clouds approaching for the last hour. It happed while I was talking to someone else. Oh boy, The sky now is completely grey, only lighting up when the lighting strikes!

I've found my five Artists

Remember a few posts back when I talked about having to find artists for my Art GCSE, well, after searching the far reaches of the internet (Pinterest) I have found my five artists. With some it is because of a singular piece that have done, with others it's because of their style of work.
Damien Hirst

This piece is why I chose Damien Hirst as one of my artists. This piece is not of him but is of what he is passionate about. I think that this represents my passionate side.
Thomas Hawk

This is one of many photographs that Thomas Hawk took during a Holi Festival in India. I like it because I think I represents my Bubbling, Optimistic part of my personality.
Russ Mills

I like the style that Russ Mills does, in a majority of his portraits, you would see a very good face bit the rest of the person is made from explosions and smears. I think that this represents my chaotic (but in a good way) Style.
Jason Mecier

I chose Jason Mecier because of the 3-d Mosaics he does. He'll reconstruct  a face with "Junk" but the items he uses have a significance to the person he is creating. I believe this reflects the uniquely complex side of me.
Barbra Kruger

This piece by Barbra Kruger did is why I chose her. I was looking for an artist that had done something with smashed mirrors. This is because I have a side of me that I hate, when I am a monster. I think that this piece represents this side of me exactly.

Free Running

Hey guys,
Lately, I've been watching YOGSCAST Hannah (YouTuber)play through a game called Mirror's Edge and recently she has started the sequel Mirror's Edge Catalyst. In these games you play as the protagonist called Faith, and she is a runner, she free runs across the city's rooftops doing jobs. I'm not sure what she actually does for these jobs but I know that she gets around by jumping, wall-running, rolling and climbing. I absolutely love these games because of the whole feeling of freedom that they give, because that is what free running is about: the freedom to make you own route, it's your choice where to go and how to get there.

Now, yesterday I watched a video by another YouTuber. His name is Mathew Patrick, his audience call him MatPat and he runs a successful web-series called Game Theory. I've mentioned him before on the blog. A few weeks back he started releasing a new show called Game Lab. He made in partnership with the YouTube Red program.

If you don't know what it is, then I can kind of explain it, but it might be worth reading up on if you interested. Now YouTube Red is a service were you pay a monthly subscription fee and in return you can save videos offline, ad-free videos and have access to exclusive videos made by YouTube Creators. On the creator side of it there are some good things. They would produce new  videos that is based around stuff they do which are different from the rest of them. Now, these videos can have financial backing by YouTube. MatPat has used this backing to the full extent, in one episode of Game Lab, they rented a castle!

I don't have YouTube Red, but MatPat has released the first episode of Game Lab for free. This was probably because it's to give viewers a taste of what the show is like. Now the concept of Game Lab is to put game situations into real life. I know that some of the games that they have done include: 'Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes', 'Metal Gear Solid V' and 'Rocket League'. Now I really want to talk about this in more detail, so that will be in tomorrow's post in order not to mak this one any longer.

The free Game Lab episode is based on the free-running from Mirror's Edge. I watched this video and saw that what faith could do in the game is actually possible in real life. I think that is amazing, that some people have these amazing skills.
Now I want to learn how to free run. I know nothing except, how to do a safety roll (A roll that you do when you land to spread the impact force.)

Watching the game

Hey guys,
Right now it is the last England game of the group stages of the Euro's. It is England vs. Slovakia. It is 0-0. The English team is making silly, little, amateur mistakes. It is 69 mins into the game.
Ok, if you don't know what will happen if we win, draw or lose. Then I will explain.
Right now, we are at the top of our group with Wales in second, Slovakia is in third and Russia is bringing up the rear. Now no matter what happens in our game, we will go through to the knock-outs. But if we win we will get an easier match in the knock-outs because we will end up at the top. If we draw then we will end up second and have a harder match in the knock-outs. And if we lose then we will end up second and get a harder match in knock-outs.

I am going to go back to watching the game now

Nacho's and Football

Hey guys,
Before I start, I know that we have passed 2250 views, which is good! But I am currently in school (having some free-time because I have completed all my work) so I will post the blog tonight, (I am prepared).

Now, Tuesday and Wednesday, nothing much happened, yesterday, we did go to fowlmead, but like I said nothing much happened.
But today, stuff is happening. My mates are in a different form, so they go to collage on Thursday. Over the course of the year, they having being doing different units that are meant to emulate different collage courses. In the last few weeks, they have being doing the enterprise unit, and today, their are making and selling a product. It's Nachos. Of course, being a mate, I have put an order in for some Nachos. I am getting nachos with melted cheese on top, bits of frankfurter and with two dips of my choice, they are salsa and ketchup. But the best part is yet to come.

Today, if you've watched the news or are a football fan, then you would know today is the England Vs. Wales match! However, it is on during school time, nevertheless, we are allowed to watch it when it is on. As well, my mates who go to collage, they are coming back in time to watch it, SO, that means I can watch the England game WHILE having some melted cheese covered nacho's!

I have to make this quick since I am on borrowed time.
Basically, today I watched the finale of Life On Mars. It was a brilliant TV series made by the BBC, and it's ending is AMAZING. I won't spil it for anyone, but I will give you the basis of the show. John Simms plays Sam Tyler, a policeman in the current day (it was filmed in 2006). He is involved in an accident which puts him in coma, but he wakes up in 1973! We're not sure whether he's asleep, mad or a time traveller.
So that's the basis of it. I would totally recommend the series, I think their was an American remake as well, but I've never watched it. As well, the ending was voted first in the top 50 TV endings. I don't remember all of them but I do know that 'Only Fools and Horses' was second.


Before I go, I found out today, that Adam (My oldest brother) is on, and has been there a while, AN ISLAND OF THE COAST OF AFRICA!!!!! I mean, bloody hell, no-one in my family tells me anything!

In search of artists

Hey guys,
Today was pretty standard, so nothing new there. However, today I am going to briefly talk about my Art GCSE and what I need to do.

Ok, so I have started the 'Portraitare' section of the course. For the first part I need to find, investigate and make a direct response to 5 different artists who have done portraitare; I am given a list of artists to choose from or I can find my own. The problem is I have taken a look at the list and I don't like the look of the artists, It's just I am looking for someone who is unconvential, someone who's work is different from the standered self portrait.

As well, when i say a direct response, I mean I basically imitate one of the pieces but change it so it is about me. For example, I take an Andy Warhol piece and copy it but instead of Andy's face, I put my own face in it.

As I was saying, I am looking for an artist that does things differently, mainly because I just don't really like the style or look of them, I just can't imagine myself in that style, if you know what I mean.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles China IS AMAZING

However, this game is different. The music is beautiful, the artwork and the graphics are amazing, and on top of that the gameplay is addictive, I just couldn't get enough of it. A Fucking terrible Day

Hey guys,
Sorry about the swearing, but today has been utterly shit. School was alright, bearable. But I have spent the last SEVEN hours trying to fix my computer, It just won;t let me connect to the internet. I am currently writing this on my sisters laptop. But I have looked through 6 different forums, 10 YouTube videos, and none of them has fixed my problem! I can't connect to the internet with MY homes Router, when I was at my aunt's it worked fine! But No when it's here, IN MY OWN FUCKING HOUSE! It doesn't work, I run the troubleshooter to be told that I am missing one or more network protocols. This is stopping my from connecting to my router.
I HAVE FUCKING SPENT THE LAST SEVEN FUCKING HOURS TRYING TO FIX THIS.
Now I will be the first to say that I really depend on my Laptop, so when it breaks I get really upset, because It seems that everything I fucking care about gets fucked WITH!

Sorry, I am just extremely upset right now, and it's not because of the computer.

Some exciting news!

Hey guys,
Before I start I wanted to say sorry about not posting yesterday, this laptop I am currently one is the school laptop and, well, sometimes it's fast but sometimes it is incredibly slow.


Anyway, onto my exciting news. Before I give it to you there is some context to tell you about. At my school we have three houses: Kingsgate, Botany and Walpole. I am in Walpole. Also at my school we have a point system: You can get points for being a good student and if you get the highest points out of everyone in your year, that week; then you get a certificate. HOWEVER, the points had no real reward and no incentive, as well, the houses where only used on sports day and we also get house points but they were worthless and we didn't know how to get them.


BUT! There has been a total revamp of the system, everything except the houses have been scrapped. All the points and house points have been replaced with Merit's. You can only get a maximum of 2 per lesson (This is to stop the unfairness of giving out points) and there has to be a good reason for giving the merit. As well as merits, there are also commendations available, these are for exceptional work.
Now I know what you might be thinking: "But these merits and commendations still don't have an incentive." But there is one. Each merit is worth 5p, and a commendation is worth 20p. Now, for each year in their hub/common room, there is a shop with 5 different categories of items to buy: £1, £2, £3, £4 and £5; however, as well, exclusively for the Year 11's £5 and £10 vouchers for different stores are available. You, of course, have to spend time saving up your merits ad commendations to buy something good.


As well as this, a new thing has been put in place. Now at your secondary school or whatever, you might have had something like a house captain or head boy/head girl. Well, it has been put in place that there will be a House Captain for each house, as well, they have a Vice Captain to assist them in being ambassadors for the school. AS WELL AS this there is also a sports captain and a vice-sports captain for each house. They organise competitions between the houses (sporting ones).


So that is the whole revamp process describe, oh and one more thing: the captain's can only be the Year 10' (going on Year 11's, my year).


But that is not where this ends, take a look at this picture:

THAT'S RIGHT, I was elected by to be the HOUSE CAPTAIN! I have never been a house captain. The perk of being a House Captain do include: an automatic seat on the school council, being an ambassador for the school and a awesome BADGE! There is other stuff but I am not sure what yet. Anyway, This was awesome! I am so happy. Because I never thought I'd make it to the stage of voting.
You see, I had to put my name forward for the position, the list of people where then shortlisted by the current school council, AND then that final list was given to the teachers to decide who they wanted to vote for. they had about 5 votes each, I think.

Ok, so once a month I buy this magazine called 'Total Guitar'. It is a guitar magazine (shock horror), but in this month's issue, it was focused on an interview with the guitar legend that is Eddie Van Haling. So to accompany the interview with Eddie, TG were give a 'EVH Stripe' to give away! Here is a picture:

It costs about £629, it has a single humbucker pick-up and it has the iconic (and trademarked) stripe paint job.


I have no idea about the odds of winning, but I think they are stacked against me. Nevertheless, you have to in it to win it.

Before I start, It is the 1st OF JUNE! Where did May go?!

Anyway, last night I was talking to some of the fellow Yognau(gh)ts (People who like the Yogscast). One of them looked at my YouTube channel (Armada TV). He said that it was a nice channel, which is good. However, he thought that some of my videos didn;t have custom thumbnails. He was mistaken, he was talking about my ReactPLUS videos, which have custom thumbnails of selected frames on the video. He said that they looked like YouTube auto thumbnails. He also suggested that I customise them a bit more. So I did.

I usually talk about my day but nothing much has actually happened today, well, actually that's a lie because I went to this family fun day at the Hornby's Vistors centre. It was meant to be outside, but because it started to rain, they moved it inside. However, this made the inside SUPER cramped because there was a lot of people there. Anyway, it was all a fundraising event for Cancer Research, there were things like a raffle and a tombola. As well there were those guessing competitions, you know, 'Guess how many so and so are in the jar'. There was one to win a car, a train set, among others.

Best Day Ever!

Like I predicted, I wasn't able to post yesterday because I got in around gone 1pm!

Anyway, Yesterday was AMAZING. But before I continue, I went to this festival called the Big Church Day Out. So I will be talking about Christian worship music and other Christian stuff, Now If your against that kind of thing (and that's Ok, you have the right to your own opinion) and this post might offend you, then don;t read this post because I have no intention of offending anyone.

Now, to the people who are still here. Let me tell you the highlights of my day: All of it!
But seriously there were some amazing moments. One was the hour I spent at the Illuminate stage watching LZ7 (My new favourite band) It was a massive mosh pit! I am still hurting all over. The music they did was AMAZING. Anyway, The another awesome Thing was Matt Redman, He is one of the biggest names in Worship, and I saw him LIVE! But midway through his act, there was this ceremony for the people who wanted to start having Jesus in the driving seat. These people did this prayer, and then they held up their phones with the torches on. (And because there was this big screen showing this camera's view) I saw so many lights in air, out of the20,000+ strong crowd. It was so inspiring!

Speaking of crowds it was INSANE to see the ocean of people, there was no grass to be seen!

That is the highlights, wait, New world sons, you guys have got to check them out!

Anyway, next year I am totally doing the FULL weekend, as well as camping the weekend as well!

Today was pretty bland, it was a massive spring clean of the entire house because it is now a half term. Because of that, I had to empty my wardrobe and go through all my clothes and try them on, to see if they still fit.

It is the massive church based festival, however, I am leaving early at 9:30, so I better get to bed.But I am not getting back to gone midnight, so There probably won't be a post tomorrow. Now let me talk about what I did yesterday. So at the end of each term as a residence, we go out to do a big activity. In the past we have done Go-Karting, Trampalining, Laxer Quest, Etc. So this term we went to Howletts Animal Park. At the park they have a thing called, 'The Treetop Challenge'. So you wear a harness, and get clipped into the rig. You then start to go over this obstacle course, which is hanging in the air in-between them are platforms. There are obstacles like a balance beam, bendy bridge, a sideways net climbing thing, etc. The whole thing ends with a zip-line, where the landing ground is a bark mound. but if you don't stick the landing you get bark up your back.

A new place for my money + Itailian Food

Hey guys,
Sorry about the late posting, I've been at a dinner. It was an Italian themed dinner, with 4 courses. I would tell you what I had but I can't pronounce or spell it! Anyway, It is was a great dinner, with after dinner entertainment from a live band.
So that happen but also, today I finally got a bank account! Finally, I have waited for ages to get one, I have 2 accounts: A U19 account and a savings account. Now I can finally use the money I get as gifts on my Steam account (If you didn't know, Steam is a platform on which you can buy and play games). I have to get to bed, early start tomorrow, But I promise you, I will post the Blog Art tomorrow, I still haven't looked at the view counter just in case.

I'm Back

I'm back after a week of absence. Now things have happened in the week, I'll fill you but I have some homework to attend to so I'll have to make it quick:

• The 4 out of the 5 exams I have had went really good.
• There 2 fights are school: in one someone got punched in the face, and the other one, someone got stabbed, I don't really want to go into detail.
• I have almost finished the first episode of Daniel Learns to play. It should be up tonight.

That is really all that has gone on, However, I haven't looked at the View count because I am almost finished with the Blog Art.

Hey guys,
First of, I'm am really sorry for not posting yesterday, because by the time we got back from London, it was gone 12. But more on that later.
Before I get started, I am letting you guys know that I have exams all this week as well, I have one next week as well, so I might not be posting sometimes during the week, due to being stressed as well as revising.
Anyway, I have noticed that we are ten views away from 2000 views! This post will hopefully push it over the view point!

I probably fill you in on what happened Yesterday.

Well it started like any other, I woke up and watched YouTube. But then I had to do some more cleaning to the room so it was done. However after that I found out that we had to go to London in the car, So off we went in the car and drove to London, it took about 2 hours.
So we went to see Mum and Dennis (on a side note, Dennis is really BIG now, however that may be because I last saw in March). By the time we were ready to leave London, It was gone 10pm, so after the journey home, it was gone 12pm. However, I was so tired I just went straight to bed.
Then I woke up today at 7:30.

Today has been average. Nothing worth writing about.

Bad recording session + Masive Work Load AND GIANT PINEAPPLES

Hey guys,
I have a massive workload, That I can't get done, I know I am taking time out of time I could be working to write this but I wanted to do sol because I care about the blog.
Anyway, Today I did the first recording Session of Daniel Learns to Play, (My new Segment) However, It was more stressful then I anticipated, I mean Learning to song notes isn't the hard part, CHANGING in between them is! Anyway, I will figure it out.
Let me tell you about today, Today I made GIANT PINEAPPLES! Basically because I'm one of the hard workers in art, so me and four others got excused from lessons to be Young Leaders for the younger years. So there is about 18 of us in this room using willow to make skeletal pineapple frames.
I have to make tomorrows lunch and put the washing on.

New Recording Set-Up, Plus stuff

Hey guys,
Sorry for not posting yesterday, I was busy doing a recording session and Because at the end of May Season 3 of The Musketeers starts (YES!), I started to watch the first and second seasons again (I got both for my Birthday). So I ran out of time. So today I am making up for that, I would tell you about today, But, I'll be honest, It was shit. But anyway, onto what I did yesterday.


Like I said earlier I did a recording session however this recording session was different to the others, This was my first recording session with my new recording set-up, I did a few diagrams in MS Paint

Ok, I can't see them But the diagram with more colours on it is the one I am describing here.
I am the circle sitting in my chair , The Camera is the small Grey square with the blues, This is the camera on a tripod which can see the side of my face. Now I record the computer screen. While the camera records the side of my face.

Ok Now I am talking about the second diagram (The one with the face).
Once I have finished recording I composite them together in HitFilm4 Express. A brilliant piece of video editing software. The hard part is getting the camera video and the screen video in sync. I have the camera footage in the corner and the screen footage takes centre stage.

Once That is done and I have exported it looks like this:

I have just got in from a LONG walk home, I have been out all day with my bro's And i got home to write about that but I am super tired and we have passed 1900 VIEWS!!!!!!!!!!
When i saw this it made me realise that noe of this, and absoulutely NOTHING, would be possible without you, the reader. I ahven't thanked you guys propally since before 1000 views. Hey guys,
I have a lot of info to fill you guys in with. So first I will explain why I didn't post last night, Well, as I said earlier I went out to get my hair cut and after that, I went to McDonalds to have a key work session, and when i got back i had work to do so before i knew it was 10:00
sorry about that.
Anyway, I had my hair cut, here's a pic

 Ok as you can see I went Grade one round the sides and a little of the front but enough left to style. And that was my hair cut.

After that, I went to McDonalds and i got the Tennesse stack, and it is SO NICE, As well I had the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade which was also nice.

Pretty good, As well new segments

Hey guys,
Like I said, I have gone and seen Captain America: Civil War. I have recorded my reviews and I will get them edited as soon as possible but while on the subject of my YouTube channel, I thought I could tell you that I have TWO new segments coming to the Channel:
1) After consulting my friends and family, they have all said do 'Daniel Learns to Play' so I am choosing that option. So next week, I will start my first recording session of that segment.
2) Now the second segment that is coming to the channel is not that new actually, but it hasn't been made an official segment on the channel it is called THE REVIEW SHOW, It is the only name I can think of right now but I have been thinking of one to use, let me know if you have any ideas for names!

I am Super stressed right now

Hey guys,
I am super stressed right now. It's just I have too many things to do and everything is going wrong! When I woke up today I thought today was going to be a ok sorta day, I wasn't expecting it to be brilliant but just OK, where I would just get by but everything has gone wrong.
I mean I barley did anything in the first of the 2 periods of English that I had and the work I did get done isn't at my standard of what I want my work to be. And then I get up on the wing and find that I have forgotten like half of my clothes, as well, Last Friday I was rushing around trying to get all my stuff packed but what I forgot to do was to put the lid back on my hair wax, which meant that it the middle of it dried out and the sides became like jelly! Which is great but I just don't have time to worry about stuff because I have too much work to-do and I have less time to do said work because of the bloody bank holiday!
Oh I also found out that I have a week full of exams, so I have to revise for those on top of everything else, like what I am meant to do? I can't do multiple things at once or it just gets too much and I don't have time to do one thing at a time!

I'm back! Part 2 (2 week old news)

Hey guys,
Now before I start your probably wondering why I'm not in school today, well it is because of MayDay Bank Holiday, and that means I am not in school today. Anyway onto some overdue news.

So two weeks ago I did my independence week, and I filmed it all, HOWEVER, due to security reasons I am not allowed to release this footage and that is a shame because there is some really good stuff in there. BUT luckily for you am allowed to talk about it and I am allowed to release certain images from the footage as long as I am the only one in the photo. Let's get started.

Monday
So the Monday was the first day of it all, one of the first things I had to was hand over all of my toiletries.

After that, we had this INCREDIBLY long talk with the head of care about te rules of the week and what is expected of us, etc. After that, we finally got ahold of the money, a full £45:

Once everything was sorted, the trio (Me, Jack and Bryn) finally set out on our EPIC JOURNEY, to Lidl. We started to walk there and it took AGES! well, we finally got there and I picked up my basket and set off into the store picking up the things I needed: Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Food, toiletries, etc. Now a photo would go here but I don't have a good enough shot of said shopping to use. Anyway, Once we got back I started to make my dinner, it was Pasta and sauce with melted cheese.

And it was DELISCOUS I mean I knew I was a good cook but I had always had help with it but this meal was the first meal I had cooked all on my own!
Anyway, after that, I made my packed lunch for the next day, it comprised of:
A Chicken paste sandwich
One satsuma
Two sausage rolls
One Yogurt
One caramel Wafer bar
Once carton of Apple juice
 And that is all I had in the packed lunch but the next stage was I tin foiled EVERYTHING right down to the spoon for the yogurt!
Finally, I put my washing on and that is really all I did for Monday. Now I would go onto the rest of the week but I haven't stopped writing since I started the post at 12:13 and it is now 12:42, and I have some video's to edit and upload. I'll write the next day tomorrow.

I'm back! Pt.1 (Today News)

Hey guys,
That s**** that went down as finally blown over, I did say that the hiatus was going to be brief.

Anyway, in this part I am going to talk about what has happened today:

Let's get started:
Today two important things happened. Let's start with item 1: I and harris were waiting for a bus when four girls came along and they were ANNOYING, Laughing and being rude and loud. But then the STRANGEST and the scariest thing happened. The girls just finished some stupid chat and then some guy in a  car pulled up on the other side of the road he waited for the car to go past. I thought he was popping into the chippie but then he stormed across the road, with his PHONE OUT,  and started to shout at these girls while taking pictures of their faces at the same time : "OI YOU LITTLE C*****, STAY THE F**** AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER, OTHERWISE I'LL BEAT THE F******* S**** OUT OF YOU" And those are the words I managed to hear, but I know he said! The girls were scared s***less but then the STRANGEST THING HAPPEN AGAIN! At the other end of the street, and I mean a good twenty metres away, there was about 20-30kids (the same age as the girls). Well anyway, they saw what was going down and they ALL STARTED TO RUN!!!! Down the street. they came charging. The man obviously saw this finished up his cussing and went back to his car, however just as he finished up some of the faster boys of the group had arrived, the man looked at them and gave them the 2 fingered salute! Well, he managed to get away without any more trouble. Bu oh boy, me and Harris were like: don't move, don't say anything, don't make eye contact, BE INVISIBLE! But on the bus, we could hear the girls complaining and swearing and they started to construct a lie about what had happened making them seem like victims. I'm not saying they started this but they must have been bullying this other girl. for that reaction out of some parent.

Now that I have written that all out The other item seems less interesting and important: But anyway, Remember a few months back when I talked about ordering the MENU. Well today I started to put that plan into action by writing down all the prices, (excluding Breakfast and meal prices) Here's a picture:
